I am the Director of the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning where I assist faculty members and teaching assistants with the selection and implementation of pedagogical strategies to enhance teaching and learning. He also works with departments to provide consultation on program assessment and curriculum revision. Kevin serves on a number of University-wide committees including Academic Council and the University Council on Academic Technology (UCAT) and served on the Board of Directors of the Professional and Organizational Development Network (POD) from 2009 through 2012.

I received the College of Arts and Letters Award of Appreciation for Outstanding Service in September 2011 and became a Fellow of the Notre Dame Institute for Latino Studies in February of 2012. In the summer of 2007, I was a Fulbright Senior Specialist spent five weeks working with the Center for Innovation and Quality in Teaching at the University of Talca, Chile.

In addition to my work in the Kaneb Center  I teach "La telenovela: género, significado cultural y producción estudiantil" a course listed in Film Television and Theatre, Latino Studies, Latin American Studies and Computer Applications. In the past I've taught Advanced Multimedia Development and Intro Multimedia Devleopment for the Computer Applications Program. I am also a member of the Notre Dame Migration Working Group and was the director, videographer and editor for Project Mexico Immersion: Confronting Transnational Migration, a short documentary film (22 minutes ) that examines the relationship between Plymouth Indiana and Santiago Capitiro Mexico. I am a fellow at the .

I earned an Ed.S. and MS in Science Education and a BS in Marine Biology from Florida Institute of Technology and an AS in General Science from Ocean County College. For more detailed information see my CV.
