I'm an assistant professor in the College of Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, with appointments in the Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA) and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. I joined the faculty in August 2013, after completing my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
I work in "network science", with a particular focus on information networks and graph mining. My research lies at the intersection of machine learning and databases and information retrieval.
I respond fairly quickly to emails sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. I maintain an office in 353 Fitzpatrick Hall at Notre Dame, and I can sometimes be contacted with GTalk instant messenger system via email@example.com. You'll also find me on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter, but I rarely check my accounts.
