Campus Growth and Development

Never a campus to be accused of “dreaming too small,” Notre Dame has $300 million to $400 million of campus development projects in progress or on the horizon. They include a center for executive education, a social sciences building, a student activities building, two residence halls, a multi-disciplinary research building, and an art museum.

Featured Current Projects

The Stayer Center for Executive Education will be located immediately south of the Mendoza College of Business, adjacent to the new DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and the Irish Green—both vital links between the University and the local and regional communities. Students and participants will be well-served by the deluxe lodging, restaurants, and retail available in nearby Eddy Street Commons, a mixed-used development now under construction along the campus’s southern corridor.

The installation of a new nuclear accelerator is underway in the Nuclear Science Laboratory, located in the Nieuwland Hall of Science.
