Ranger Challenge

Ranger Challenge competition is an opportunity for cadets to compete against other ROTC battalions from different universities within our brigade in weekend-long competition held each fall. Cadets volunteer to do extra training focusing on physical fitness, teambuilding, tactical skills to prepare for competition in rifle marksmanship, tactical ruck marching, obstacle courses, resupply missions, land navigation, grenade assault courses, and more. Brigade-level winners earn the opportunity to advance to a national competition (in the spring) at the US Military Academy at West Point, where the competition includes not only ROTC BN regional champions, but also US Military Academy teams and UK cadet teams.
