Symposia

A happy result of the Corinth Project and its Exhibition has been two symposia recently held at the University of Notre Dame. The first, Issues in Architectural Reconstruction , occurred January 20-21, 2006 in conjunction with the opening of the Corinth Project Exhibit. The second, inspired by the success of the first and in part the result of brainstorming that took place during the first symposium, was held almost exactly a year later, on February 24, 2007. It was entitled The Acquisition and Exhibition of Classical Antiquities: Professional, Legal, and Ethical Perspective s and has now been published as a book by the University of Notre Dame Press. The papers of the first symposium are currently being edited for publication.
