The Discrimination and Coping (DISCO) Study
Principal Investigator: Irene J. K. Park, Ph.D.
We are currently seeking participants for a new study on Mexican/Mexican American families. In particular, we are looking for families from the local Michiana area who fit these criteria:
1) Mexican American adolescents ages 12 – 17 years old;
2) residing with one or both parents, also of Mexican origin;
3) the adolescent was born in Mexico or the United States;
In this study, we hope to learn more about perceived discrimination, emotion regulation, family processes, and mental health among Mexican/Mexican American youths and their families.
