About Us

 

Welcome to the official website for the Disc Golf Club of Notre Dame. Founded to help promote and foster the love of disc golf, the club welcomes beginners and experienced players alike. Check back often for announcements and club events.

 

Purpose

The mission of our club is threefold. The first is to give the students of Notre Dame the opportunity to experience this exciting sport first hand, on their own campus with other students. Implicit in that is the goal of installing a disc golf course on campus.

Second we aim to improve the standard of intercollegiate disc golf competitions in our region. Through increased communication with golfers at other schools we can create better regulated leagues, resulting in a higher quality experience and betterment of all clubs.

Third we acknowledge the vital role that the South Bend community plays in the success of our club. Without their support and expertise the first two goals would be out of our reach. Because of this we resolve to return the support by performing maintenance, erosion control and general upkeep on local courses. We also intend to help institute the E.D.G.E. program to promote healthy activity among South Bend's elementary school students.
