The Moral Psychology Lab at Notre Dame uses multiple methods to study moral development.

1. Cognitive experimental methods like reading stories, watching shows, playing video games

2. Survey methods to study personality and developmental differences informed by moral philosophy

3. Observational methods to study children's moral development

Our recent topics include academic integrity, moral judgment, moral identity, attachment, aggression, political attitudes, ecological reverence, multicultural experience.

Undergraduates help conceptualize and design studies, collect, enter and score data; present findings at conferences, develop interventions with local communities, co-author papers, assist in summer research.
