Division Qualifiers for Summer National Championships
"C" and Under*
- Men's Epee 8:00
- Men's Foil 8:30
- Sabre 9:00
- Women's Epee 9:30
- Women's Foil 10:00
16 and Under**
- Men's Epee Noon
- Men's Foil 12:30
- Sabre 1:00
- Women's Epee 1:30
- Women's Foil 2:00
Times are close of registration, E.S.T. Events are open only to Indiana Division members of USFA. (You may join at the venue.) This is a qualifying event for the Summer Nationals; there are no alternate qualifiers. Therefore, only those who intend to compete in the Summer National Championships (Santa Clara, California, July 4-12) should enter.
*"C" & Under event: Open only to fencers rated "C" and below.
- Top finishers qualify for the Division II Summer Nationals.
- All veteran competitors qualify for Veteran events at Summer Nationals
- All competitors rated "D" and below will qualify for Division III Summer Nationals. (That's right, to qualify for the Division III event in July, all you need to do is compete !)
**16 & Under event: Open only to fencers who were 16 or under on January 1, 1997.
- Top 30% qualify for Under-16 Summer Nationals.
- All under-14 competitors qualify for their respective age groups (U-14, U-12, U-10) at the Summer Nationals. (Again, you guessed it, if you are eligible for one of the three youngest age groups, all you need to do is compete !)

Joe Fisher (Foil) & Daniel Pratt (Sabre) earned places on the Cadet National Team. They will compete in the World Cadet Championships in Tenerife, Spain, at the end of March 1997 !!
