Background:

I joined the Fein group in September 2013 as a visiting scholar while I continue my Ph.D. studies through East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.  This research opportunity is allowing me to focus my research on the surface reactions that control the fate and transport of metals within aqueous environments.

Research:

(1) Investigation of heavy metal binding to graphene oxide.
