"The application process allowed me to think about future goals and how to practically achieve them. It was great having the CUSE Fellowship office as a resource to help me refine my ideas and develop new ones."               "CUSE really helped me clarify my personal and professional goals in the application process, which in turn gave me a lot of confidence entering into the application process for graduate school."               "I cannot overemphasize the incredible encouragement, feedback, and communication provided by the CUSE Office… as well as my faculty mentor and how valuable it was. The interview process and staggered deadlines made my proposal much stronger than if I were left on my own. Regardless of whether I win the award, the application process was extremely valuable to my development as a student and researcher."

What is a Fellowship?

A fellowship/scholarship is an award for past performance: stellar grades; leadership; community service.
It is also recognition of your future promise. It is a springboard to greater opportunities
providing funding for education and research, and an introduction to a network of like-minded scholars.
