We will continue to cover material as scheduled, despite this extra activity.</span><strong><br /><br /></strong>On Monday, September 24, 2007, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Allman" rel="self">Eric Allman</a> will present a talk on Email<br />Authentication. The presentation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in<br />the auditorium of the Center for Continuing Education in McKenna Hall. Any<br />member of the Notre Dame community who is interested in email and security<br />is welcome to attend.<br /><br />Eric Allman is co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Sendmail, Inc.  He<br />is the author of sendmail, the world's most widely-used mail transfer<br />agent, and the co-author of the specification for DomainKeys Identified<br />Mail (DKIM). Last year, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) adopted<br />DKIM as an Internet standard to combat email identity fraud and phishing<br />attacks.
