This website was established to facilitate research by a collection of biologists, economists, legal scholars, natural resource managers, and ethicists who were collaborating to assess "managed relocation" (aka "assisted migration").

The working group was funded by the National Science Foundation (DEB) and the Cedar Tree Foundation.  .  

The group meet on three occasions in 2008 & 2009 and produced two synthetic papers:
