Postdoctoral Researcher:

Several postdoctoral positions are available in synthetic organic chemistry and polymer chemistry. Aiming at preparation of organic and polymeric materials, the projects involve organic synthesis, polymer synthesis and characterization. Successful candidates must have comprehensive knowledge on organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and various polymer characterization techniques. Experience with inorganic and polymeric nanoparticle synthesis is desirable. Candidates with self-supported funds will be considered with priority. Graduate Students:

The Gao group is currently seeking motivated, ambitious graudate students. Students in the Gao group will have opportunity to acquire skills that encompass the areas of advanced organic/ polymer synthesis, characterization, catalysis, and molecular spectroscopy. Group members are encouraged to foster new ideas that are tailored to satisfy their current and future interests.
