Stochastic Analysis of Chemical Reaction Networks

In this talk we will first briefly describe a complete analytical solution for low-order moments of linear reaction networks, with or without diffusion. We will then describe a new reduction method for removing fast kinetic steps and compare the method with exisitng methods. Finally, we will discuss a stochastic model of actin dynamics that includes fragmentation, annealing, and a variety
of control molecules.
