Faculty Directory--Enda Leaney
Professor Enda Leaney comes to Notre Dame after lecturing at the National University of Ireland, Galway in the History of Science. Leaney received a B.A. in History and Philosophy and an M.Phil in Modern History from Trinity College Dublin, and an M.Sc. and D.Phil from Oxford University in the History of Science. He also received a Government of Ireland Post-Doctoral Fellowship in 2002-2003. Leaney has completed a manuscript on the social history of science in nineteenth-century Ireland and has published articles in journals such as Irish Historical Studies, New Hibernia Review and the Field Day Review. He will teach classes in Irish History and Science and Society in Ireland.
