Juan Carlos Guzman, Ph.D.

I am the research director for the Institute for Latino Studies at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana.  My current research focuses on access to education among Latinos and their transition from high school to college and the labor market.  My main focus is to develop and write grant proposals to research the state of Latinos with emphasis on: labor market, migration, demography and health.

After obtaining my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Demographics from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, I joined both The World Bank Organization and the American Institute for Research. With the former, my research ranged from computing statistics on education, labor market, health, and population, to gathering and mapping statistics coming from censuses and other sources on migration stock and flows by gender. With the latter, I conducted research for the Education Statistics Services Institute (ESSI).

I invite you to look through my website, and contact me with any questions or concerns that you might have.  I have included much of my past and current work, as well as helpful links that will provide more information about my work. Please feel free to browse through. I hope you enjoy!
