Knott Hall Spiritual Life

Beneath academics and athletics, Notre Dame is truly a religious institution. Faith is at the crux of the University's mission: to cultivate the entire human person—academically, athletically, and spiritually. All religions and creeds are celebrated, administrative policies are rooted in religious teachings, and every residence hall has a unique chapel.

Knott's Masses are led by our Priest in Residence, Fr. Jim Foster, C.S.C.

Mass Times

Dorm Masses are held every Sunday at 10pm in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Chapel, located on the first floor of Knott Hall.

Masses are also offered during the week, usually on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 10pm.

Music & Liturgy

Dorm music is provided by a student choir and band. Both consist entirely of Juggerknotts.

If you're interested in joining the Knott Hall Mass Band, please contact Michael O'Brien at sgsmob@gmail.com.

Juggerknotts also volunteer their time as Lectors, delivering the readings at Dorm Masses.

To learn more about participating in the Mass, please contact Knott's Spiritual Commissioner Daniel Byrne (Class of 2014) at dbyrne3@nd.edu.
