Read to a Child Program

The Read to a Child Program is coordinated by South Bend Community School Corp to promote literacy at Title 1 schools. Volunteers are paired with a child and read with him/her 30 minutes each week. LVCY and the SBA would like to help cement NDLS' relationship with Muessel Primary School by providing them with volunteer readers and mentors. Connie Moore is coming to provide training and information to students interested in becoming readers.
