Mary Corcoran is a visiting professor in the sociology department at ND this semester. Her home university is NUI Maynooth, in Ireland. She will be speaking on the topic of demographic shifts in Ireland, how the island has seen a shift from emigration to immigration, and how the 2004 referendum changes citizenship requirements.
