My primary research interest is in spatial language and spatial cognition. The particular focus is on how various characteristics of the objects being described (e.g., geometric features, functional parts) and the goals of the speaker and listener impact descriptions of their spatial location. My research has employed empirical, computational, and psychophysiological measures to investigate the way in which the objects and their spatial relations are encoded, represented and described.

More detail about my research can be found by navigating to various pages using the menu at the top.
