excellenceProfessor Moore is exactly that type of professor I expected to find at Notre Dame.  Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and qualified, but she also stays true to her values both in and out of the classroom.  Professor Moore's Promotional Strategy course was one of the best I took at ND.  She shared her vast experiences with us, which is one of the best ways to learn. She always stayed on top of the latest marketing trends and topics to ensure that she was exposing us to the most up-to-date and useful information.  She took the time out of class to speak with us, providing not only help for her course but career advice and guidance.  She cares tremendously for her students. 

After taking her class, Professor Moore invited a few of her students, including me, to lunch to discuss how she could improve her course in the future.  While some professors might continue doing the same thing year after year, ND professors truly listen to students' advice and are consistently striving to improve their courses.  Professor Moore sat down with us and asked us not to hold back because she wanted to ensure that she provided future students with an even better course. 

Professor Moore helped me prepare for a career in marketing from a theoretical as well as a practical perspective.  More importantly, however, she reminded me to strive for excellence in all I do, ask for advice and even criticism and care about those around me.
