The Lay Ministry Formation Program is a critical part of the comprehensive curriculum of the M.Div. degree. Students preparing for lay ministry participate in weekly prayer, celebration of the Eucharist, and monthly meetings which focus on topics pertaining to the personal, spiritual and professional development of the aspiring lay minister. The program also fosters a sense of community among the students through a variety of activities.

Our program addresses issues which are pertinent to the students now as they participate in the Master of Divinity program and in their future ministry to the People of God. Efforts are focused on the following areas.

Community

Spiritual Development

(personal and communal)

Professional Development

(Academic concerns and Ministerial identity)
