Dear Attendees and Presenters of the 6th Annual Midwest Econometrics Group:

Just a few updates and reminders about this meeting being held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2, 1996.

1. For those of you who have not yet made hotel reservations at the Howard Johnson's Plaza Hotel, please do so BEFORE OCTOBER 1 or the block of rooms being held will be let to the public. The weekend of the conference is a big football weekend here. Hotel rooms will be at a premium.

2. To make reservations at HJ call 608/251-5511 or fax at 608/251-4824. Mention the Regional Econometrics Conference and the Confirmation # P39744-03 if you will arrive on Thursday, October 31. If you will be arriving on Friday (or Saturday), November 1 or 2, use the Confirmation #P39744. Sorry, but the reduced rates cannot be given when using a HJ 800 number.

3. If anyone has special dietary needs, please inform us as soon as possible so we can accommodate you at the Friday dinner.

4. If anyone will need audio-visual equipment other than an overhead projector, please inform us of the specifics.
