About / Research / Teaching / Outreach / CV

I am a 3rd year Ph.D student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, an Arthur J Schmitt Leadership in Science and Engineering Fellow, and a member of the Weninger Lab advised by Dr. Tim Weninger. My research focuses on trust and influence in social media. As society increasingly relies on social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit for news and opinions, understanding the role of social influence on these platforms is imperative - especially since users are acting not only as consumers but also information producers and editors.

Current Projects:

Guess The Karma
Investigating popularity and popularity mechanisms via an online quiz game Guess The Karma in collaboration with Greg Stoddard

Reddit Research Project
Investigating how users interact with and are influence by social news platforms using anonymized data collected via a browser extension.
