ND NetWorks: Connecting Alumni and Students to Opportunities

To help alumni and students respond to the tightening job market, the Mendoza College of Business created ND NetWorks, a partnership between the College and Notre Dame's Career Center and Alumni Association. The various components of the ND Networks program are described below:

Irish Online

Since May, Irish Online has had more than 200 job postings that are viewable only by ND alumni. Alumni can post or view listings at no cost. Through Irish Online, thousands of alumni have also volunteered to serve as networking contacts. Visit www.irishonline.nd.edu for more information.

NetWork Expansion Program

The NetWork Expansion Program cultivates relationships between Notre Dame and targeted small to mid-sized companies (and Fortune 1000 companies) to create career opportunities and facilitate experiential learning opportunities for students.

GET CONNECTED Shadowing Program

This one-day shadowing experience matches students with alumni during Christmas or summer breaks. It gives students a "hands-on" look into a specific career field and helps cultivate their networking skills. The Career Center supplies alumni with information about the program, the student, and ideas for the shadowing day to make it a rewarding experience for everyone involved. City Specific Workshops

ND's Career Center holds city-specific workshops in key locations throughout the U.S.: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Florida, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, New York, Texas, Saint Louis, San Francisco, Seattle and several cities in Southern California. Virtual career fairs allow alumni and companies to post full-time and internship positions. To learn more about City Specific Workshops, contact Lee Svete, svete.1@nd.edu
