Information for Our Authors

The Journal is now accepting submissions for the Volume 27:

      1. Symposium: Green Technology: Legal, Ethical, and Moral Considerations
      2. General Issue: Any topic related to our Journal’s mission of exploring the legal, ethical, and moral considerations of public policy

The deadline for the Symposium issue is October 1, 2012.  The deadline for the General issue is November 1, 2012.

The mission of our Journal is to explore the legal, ethical, and policy considerations of each topic within the framework of the Judeo-Christian intellectual and moral tradition. We seek to publish authors who address that tradition while forming a compelling analysis of issues relevant to the current legal landscape.

However, we view ourselves to be fairly open in terms of style and genre, and will give consideration to any articles that advance the dialogue on either of these important issues. Besides serious moral contemplation, we also are advocates of writing that is passionate, engaging, cogent, original and thoughtful.

The Journal welcomes unsolicited submissions by email only. Please send your submission to ndjlepp@nd.edu. A brief cover letter is suggested but not required.

Text and footnotes should conform to The Bluebook (19th ed. 2010). The Journal is published utilizing The Chicago Manual of Style (16th ed. 2010).

Please submit articles as soon as possible to ensure our most careful evaluation. We accept and encourage scholarly articles and reflective essays from law professors, political scientists, politicians, clerics, and other academic and civic leaders.
