Classification Calculation for Undergraduates
Undergraduate classifications are determined by the number of semesters attended. If you believe your classification to be incorrect, please contact the dean of your college.
Academic Code, Section 4.1 - Student Classification: For academic purposes, the rating of an undergraduate student as first year, sophomore, junior, or senior is determined by both the number of semester of attendance and the number of credits earned. The University Registrar and the student's dean (or the dean's designee) will determine the appropriate classification for each student.
