Verifications of Status and/or Attendance
The University of Notre Dame reports student status on a regularly scheduled basis to the National Student Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse will, in turn, notify all federal lenders of student status throughout the semester. This is an automatic process which does not require student notification. Students who wish to have loan deferment forms completed and returned to their lender may send or bring the forms to the Office of the Registrar, 300 Grace Hall.
Current students can print enrollment verifications from insideND. Go to your Student Academic Tab in the Student Services Channel to find the link titled "Enrollment Verification". Click on this link and follow the prompts. You can print a verification for the current semester or for all semesters you have attended.
If you are a student that does not have a social security number on file, you will need to request a verification from our office. The University utilizes the National Student Clearinghouse as the authorized agent for enrollment verifications. Verification request forms are available in pdf format, and are also available in the Office of the Registrar, 300 Grace Hall.You can fax the form to 574-631-3865. You can also scan the completed form and send it as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org
