Michele came to us in Spring 2013 from Notre Dame’s Donor Services department, where she made significant contributions in the Lettershop, Alumni Files, and Gift Processing areas. In her previous roles in Donor Services, she lead various initiatives including database upgrades and process improvement projects. Michele was a valuable lead member of the Lettershop Gift Acknowledgement Greenbelt Project team, which cut the average acknowledgement turnaround time from five days, down to two days.
Altogether, Michele has 22 years of experience working in customer service. She also has worked in the school system teaching children with special needs, which she found to be an extremely rewarding experience.
Michele has lived in the South Bend area all her life. Her family consists of her husband, Mark, and their children: Jenae, Bryce and Austin. All three children have had the wonderful experience of attending multiple conferences of Notre Dame Vision. For the past 21 years Michele has spent her time volunteering and helping out in many organizations that her children were involved with. For the past four years, she has participated in the Learning at Work Skills Academy at Notre Dame. Michele is an active parishioner at St. Pius X parish and volunteered for many years in their CCD program.
For Michele, working at Notre Dame has been a dream come true. She is a HUGE ND football fan and attends every game. Michele says that she definitely feels the true spirit of Notre Dame, and that every morning as she drives onto campus, she looks at Our Mother on top of the Golden Dome and feels extremely blessed to be a part of this great university.
