Mary Kate Radelet, Communications Consultant
Mary Kate first joined the Notre Dame Vision team in 2002 as an undergraduate Mentor in Faith during the high school program’s inaugural summer, and returned as a Mentor the following year. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Mary Kate completed two years of service at a Catholic parish in Dallas while earning her master’s degree in Theology through Notre Dame’s Echo program, then in its first years.
The promise of yet another exciting new initiative brought Mary Kate back to South Bend in 2006, this time as Assistant Director of Notre Dame Vision. She was charged with the task of creating, developing, and implementing a new summer program for adults that would complement the existing conferences for high school students. Mary Kate focused on the design and direction Notre Dame Vision for Campus and Youth Ministers (CYM) through its pilot phase from 2006 through 2009.
While back on campus, Mary Kate took advantage of the opportunity to return to her creative roots, and completed the core curriculum of Notre Dame’s undergraduate graphic design program. She put these new skills to use for Notre Dame Vision, most recently having led its rebranding efforts, including the design of its new identity system. Mary Kate is now a freelance graphic designer based in Chicago, and especially enjoys responding to the design needs of non-profit, cultural, educational, and community based organizations. She is thrilled to be able to continue to contribute to Notre Dame Vision as a designer and communications consultant. She can be contacted at, and her portfolio is viewable here. mailto:mkradelet@gmail.com
