Megan Shepherd, Associate Director

Megan Shepherd serves as the Associate Director of Notre Dame Vision in the Institute for Church Life where she oversees the registration process for summer conferences, coordinates the summer Conferences for Campus and Youth Ministers and guides the formation of undergraduate Mentors.

Megan received a Bachelors of Science in Pre-Professional Studies and Theology and a Masters of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame.  She has spent fifteen years working with young people in parish, high school and national settings including Capuchin Youth and Family Ministries in Garrison, NY, St. Giles Parish in Oak Park, IL, and Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, IL.

While working at Saint Ignatius College Prep she discovered the richness of Ignatian Spirituality, transforming her ministry with young people.  She completed the Thirty Day Spiritual Exercises and an Internship in Spiritual Direction in the Ignatian Tradition, and now serves the campus community as a spiritual director.  She was part of the Founding Leadership Team for the National Association of Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders (NACYML) - a professional organization for those involved in ministry with adolescents and has been a member since 2004.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Megan lives in South Bend with her two dogs, Pearl and Theo.
