A little grockle on the beach: I've found you just can't afford to just go live on an island someplace, or even Kokomo for that matter without doing something to pay the bills. But in cyberspace all things are possible so in my mind, and on the internet I'm already there! Just like a real beach this one changes a little every day so come back often to see what may have washed up on shore. We all enjoy taking time out for a little grockle on the beach don't we?

Them that Live Below:

Deep inside you realize that nobody knows what’s really going on in the world.

After a troubled childhood RJ Wellman left the small town of Wayne, West Virginia and never looked back. That is till his mother’s sudden death called him home. There he uncovers a dark family tradition which forces him to choose between his old life and the seemingly magical world at his very feet. This isn’t a book about how things really happened; it’s not even an autobiography; its family legend.

Did I break my arm and spend 3 days in a hospital? Yes. Did my brother stab me with my own pocketknife? Yes. Do I have re-occurring dreams of the same house near a UFO base? Yes.

But if my granmaw can whack a bear on the nose with an iron skillet and kill it instantly then who’s to say her dog didn’t live for 35 years or that one night she didn’t have a visit from a dead relative? Or that folks swear we’re all descended from French-Canadian river pirates? Oh you’ve heard that part have you? Then you must realize the rest is true…except the parts that aren’t of course.
