Although the lists below are by no means exhaustive, I have tried to provide a good beginning for those wishing to study Remedios Varo or, to a lesser extent, women and Surrealism in general. In addition to books written specifically about Varo, I have also include in the first section works which include discussion of her but are not exclusively focused on her.
