University Counseling Center (UCC) is located on the
third floor of the Health Services Building and provides confidential
counseling for University of Notre Dame students. If you're concerned
about your use of alcohol call for an intake appointment (631-7336).
Your intake counselor can provide an alcohol assessment and make
recommendations to you regarding healthy choices for you related
to your use of alcohol. On-going counseling or referral to specialized
programs can also be provided.
of Alcohol and Drug Education (ODADE) is located
at 311 Lafortune Student Center. Confidential services include
assessment and referral and are provided for all Notre Dame
students. Call 631-7970 to schedule an assessment or a consultation.
Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose primary
purpose is to stay sober and help other members achieve sobriety.
AA Meetings are free and open to all who desire to quit drinking.
Members need not give their last names and any information
shared by members is kept confidential. "What is said at an
AA meeting ... stays at an AA meeting." Contact the UCC or
ODADE for more information about AA and a list of meetings
in the area.
