Emergency Services What is a Crisis? Walk Ins Consultation

If you have attempted suicide and you need medical attention, please call 911 immediately.

If your crisis is serious and represents an immediate psychological emergency, and it is after hours (after 5:00 during the week or on a weekend), you can call UCC's 24 hour emergency services number for help. That phone number is 631-7336. Please leave a message on the voice mail. Within 30 minutes an on-call professional counselor will contact you to assess your needs. Please note that this service is for EMERGENCIES ONLY. The UCC emergency service is not available when the university is closed during the Christmas break. If you are experiencing a crisis at that time, please call the Madison Center in South Bend at 234-0061 or call the South Bend Help Line at 232-2522.
