o Download the lecture notes for the class introduction, “Moving from correlation to causation”

o Please familiarize yourself with the material from the handout “What I should have learned in ECON 30330”

o Download Problem set 2. It is due in one week, Wednesday, August 29^th

· Introduction to STATA class, Friday August 24^th

o The primary statistical package we will use throughout the semester is STATA. If you took ECON 30330 you were introduced to STATA. To familiarize you with the package, I will run a voluntary tutorial on Friday morning, August 24^th from 8am – 9:15am in the regular classroom.
