Margaret Jarc returns to her alma mater as an assistant women's soccer
coach after spending two seasons as an assistant at the University of Southern
California. Jarc served under former Irish assistant coach Karen Stanley in
USC's first two seasons as an intercollegiate program.
Margaret Jarc was a four-time monogram and three year starter for the Irish between the years 1989-1992. In 1992 she was one of the tri-captains of the Irish Women's Team that finished the season ranked #15 nationally. A midfielder and a defender Margaret became only the third Irish player to score a hatrick when she put three goals in the net in the first half of Notre Dame's victory over Tri-State. She still currently shares the record of most goals in a half with 5 other players.
Margaret directed the Trojan's 1994 Summer Soccer Camp and was the director of soccer at the Agoura YMCA in California. While at USC she also served as an assistant coach for the United States Soccer Federation Olympic Developement Under-16 state team and assisted on the Amatteur Athletic Foundation-California Interscholastic Federation soccer coaching staff.
