What if I'm going abroad?

If you are going abroad for a semester, you can still run for office.  You must tell the voters that you will be gone for a semester.  If you win an office, the second place finisher will serve in your place the semester you are not here.

Candidates are not allowed to team up for any reason.

(Note: Based on personal past experiences, it is much easier to be an officer in the fall and then go abroad in the spring than it is to be abroad in the fall and then come back to be an officer in the spring.)
