What are the needs of current Asian American students at ND? Do these needs vary by grade level? How would you try to address these needs?

*The admissions office needs to do more to attract and admit greater numbers of Asian American applicants.

*Discussion of topics related to Asia & Asian Americans are severely lacking in ND classrooms. We need to engage in dialogue with the administration and academic departments.

*There is a significant segment of the Asian American population that feels out of place in their dorms and on campus.  Therefore, AAA will increase the amount of social interaction in order to foster a sense of camaraderie and community. You can't accomplish anything as a group until people have forged relationships with each other.

*Asian American students need to know that their individual talents are appreciated and that they can go out into the campus community and the world confident in themselves.
