Research Statement

Teaching Philosophy
Antoine Gervais is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Notre Dame, a Fellow of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, and a Special Sworn Status Consultant for the United States Census Bureau. Prior to joining Notre Dame, Gervais was a research analysist at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. A native of Canada, Gervais received his M.A. in economics from the University of Toronto before moving to the United States where he received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland in 2009. His current work focuses on trade in services and the role of product differentiation and uncertainty in explaining bilateral trade flows.
