Textbook: Linear Algebra, a geometric approach by Shiffrin and Adams, 2nd edition.

Homework: There will be weekly problem sets. You are free and encouraged to collaborate with other students in the class in solving the problems, but you must write up all your solutions on your own. The lowest homework grade will not be taken into account in the computations of your final grade, and therefore late homework submissions will not be accepted. Homework is due on Wednesday, at the beginning of class.

Exams: There will be a midterm exam (10/11) and a final exam (TBD by Registrar).

Final grade:The final grade will be computed as a weighted average: 40% homework, 30% midterm, 30% final exam. (However, if the final exam grade is 100%, you will receive an A irrespective of your other scores.)
