The Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases at the University of Notre Dame gratefully acknowledges the endowment of the CRND directorship by Mr. James Parsons and Dr. Carrie Quinn.

Mr. Parsons and Dr. Quinn's magnanimous endowment of 5 million dollars for the directorship of the Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases is deeply appreciated by its founding director, Kasturi Haldar and The University of Notre Dame. The philanthropic couple are both graduates of the University. James Parsons also received an MBA from Harvard and has been a portfolio manager for Viking Global Investors in New York. Dr. Carrie Quinn completed her medical degree at Tufts University Medical School and her pediatric residency at Boston Children's Hospital.
