My office hour will be Monday 6pm-7pm, in Hayes Healy 248. If this isn't convenient, please write to me (at dgalvin1@nd.edu) to make an appointment. I have free time most days (except Tuesdays) of most weeks.
Generally, homework extensions can't be granted. If you do have an emergency and need an extension, you have to have your advisor send me an email before I can grant an extension.
The Math Department runs Math for Everyone, a series of general interest mathematics talk that I can highly recommend. This fall there will be two talks, on September 15 and November 10. You can earn an extra credit point for each talk that you attend --- just send me an email afterwards to give me a quick reaction.
