Mid-semester feedback

We are now just a little over half way through the semester. I want to make the experience of taking this course as good as I can for you, so I would appreciate getting feedback from you about how you think things are going. This will benefit me by giving me pointers about what I can improve on in the second half of the semester, and hopefully benefit you by making the class a more pleasant one to take! So please be as thorough and honest as you can be.

There are ten fields to the form, but if your time is short, don't feel compelled to say something for each question; just focus on what you think are the most important things to get across.

Please note that I will recieve your feedback as an anonymous email (from wwwforms@nd.edu), so let rip.

Since many of you may be away for spring break, I'll be gathering you thoughts through to March 20.

How much effort are you putting into this class, compared to other classes? Is this more or less (or about the same) as you expected at the start of the semester?

Do you feel comfortable asking questions in class? Do I respond adequately?

Am I sufficiently available outside of class hours?

Do you feel that the homework and exams are being graded fairly?

What do you think of the time I spend in lectures on theory versus on examples?

Do you find the course to be well organized?
