The Northern Indiana Regional Science & Engineering Fair will be held on virtually on Saturday, February 24. We will be using two software approaches for this event. Committee meetings (category judge, special teams, independent teams) will be done using Zoom. A link to the appropriate Zoom room will be provided. The fair itself, interacting with competitors and viewing projects, will be done using gather.town. This platform was chosen to give us the closest approximation to a real, physical fair. The link for this gather.town site will also be provided to all judges. Note that this can be accessed only using a desktop or laptop using a browser, as an iphone or ipad will not work.
The fair will be divided into two sections. Judging for Senior and Junior division projects will be done from 9am to noon, while judging for the Elementary division projects will be done from 1pm to 3pm. All judging will be done relative to ISEF judging criteria made available to the judges prior to the fair.
