Do the following:
- Before the tutorial, work through the tutorial 6 script here.
- Before the tutorial, look through the problem listed below. Load in the data using your method of choice, and try to get through part 2. The index addressing on this gets a bit dicey, so it is a good idea to have a solid code to work from before you get to tutorial!
- In class next Thursday (2/25) turn in your program(s) and output. You may also turn it in up to 4pm on Friday (2/26) in the CBE office. Good luck on your exams!
The Problem:
We often rely on weather predictions when planning events. Here we take a look at the predictions from last month to see just how good they are: how far out are they reliable. A detailed description of the problem is given in the file project3.pdf. You will also need the data file januaryforecasts.xls.
