Velocity Profiles from Image Analysis
In this project you will determine the velocity profile in the movie depicted above using a shifted cross-correlation between images taken at different times. The details of the project are described here, which also contains the images you will be analyzing.
What To Do
- Before the tutorial work through tutorial 4.
- Before the tutorial complete parts 1 & 2 so that we can make sure that you are on the right track!
- Turn in your final output in class on Thursday 2/16,
This is a more difficult project than last week, so be sure to get started early!
