Today we looked at matrix methods for solving differential equations. An example of eigenvalue solutions to the classic Sturm Liouville boundary value problem is given here. It uses the Sturm Liouville solver program slsolve.m as well as the p, q & w functions which define a Sturm Liouville problem (defined as anonymous functions in example39.m).
