Student Union Fiscal Policy

Items b, c, and d of Section 18.5 of the Student Union Constitution read:

(b) Any event which has sum obligations greater than $5,000, or 10% of the requesting organization’s total budget, whichever is the larger amount, shall be approved by the Financial Management Board.

(c) Any disbursement over $5,000, or 10% of the requesting organization’s total budget, whichever is the largest amount, shall be reported to the Treasurer and approved by the Financial Management board.

(d) Individuals who violate subsections (c) or (d) of section 18.4 are personally and legally liable to the University for such actions.

It is your responsibility as a student organization or club treasurer to follow the fiscal guidelines set in the Student Union Constitution. For questions or concerns concerning FMB approvals, please contact us at fmb@nd.edu or your advisor.

 

Club Coordination Council Fiscal Policy

In addition to the policies set in place by the Student Union Constitution, all clubs must adhere to the guidelines set by the Club Coordination Council. These guidelines differ by division and can be found here.
